Ms. Kline is a Partner in Saul Ewing's Litigation Department and a member of the Firm's White Collar and Government Enforcement Practice Group.She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis on reinsurance litigation and governmental contracting, compliance, and enforcement.Ms. Kline has represented reinsurers in disputes with cedents involving issues of coverage disputes, insolvency and bad faith.
Ms. Kline has represented clients under government investigation in the healthcare and government procurement fields, as well a commercial disputes for breach of contract and fraud.Her representations include claims arising under the False Claims Act and the federal Anti-Kickback statute.She has published an article on the False Claims Act, and has experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Her experience in reinsurance includes representing reinsurers in federal and state court, and arbitration.Ms. Kline's experience in government enforcement includes representing clients under government investigation in the health care and government procurement fields.Past and present representations also include commercial disputes for breach of contract, fraud, accounting fraud, and land use litigation.
Ms. Kline lectures frequently on insurance and reinsurance issues for the Insurance Society of Philadelphia.Through her involvement with the Insurance Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, she also recently team-taught an "Advanced Topics in Insurance Course" at the Rutgers-Camden School of Law.
Ms. Kline is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Villanova University School of Law.She also lectures for the Insurance Society of Philadelphia and Rutgers-Camden School of Law on insurance and reinsurance issues.
Prior to joining Saul Ewing, Ms. Kline served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Morton I. Greenberg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Honorable James McGirr Kelly of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
