  Beverly Kirchner, RN, BSN, CNOR, CASC - Ms. Kirchner serves on the AORN board of directors, has authored many AORN manuals and leads research in collaboration with the organization on violence in the nursing workplace. She serves on a Joint Commission task force charged with rewriting ASC standards and has been named to the Ambulatory Surgery Center Quality Collaboration. KirchnerBeverly Kirchner is a 1976 graduate of Texas Women's University.She began her career as a labor and delivery staff nurse at Parkland Memorial Hospital.In 1979, she changed her career focus to OR nursing.Since 1985, she has worked as a consultant on construction and management of surgery centers in multiple states.Beverly is currently working with Genesee Associates, Inc. as owner and an officer of the company.She has experience working with architects, contractors, decorators, equipment and instrument vendors, and physicians.She has developed policy and procedure manuals, business office processes and manuals, medical record forms, purchasing processes, and manuals that meet and exceed all licensure requirements.Beverly has been recognized nationally for her work and contributions to ambulatory surgery, management, and bullying in healthcare environment.She is currently a member of the AORN Board of Directors.Beverly successfully passed the first exam given by FASA to certify ambulatory administrators.She uses ambulatory surgery, as well as patient and nurse safety.
