Ann Kirchner

Ann Kirchner teaches secondary English, and this will be her second year with COVA.She received her undergraduate degree in English Education from Winona State University in 1988.Then she went on to earn her master's in Education at Drake University in Iowa.After teaching at the high school and community college levels for 12 years in the Midwest, she relocated to Denver in 2001.Recently, she taught at the University of Denver High School and Mt. View Detention Center.Some of the courses Ann has taught include Advanced Placement Writing, American and World Literature, College Prep Writing, Humanities, Journalism, Speech, Freshman Composition, and Creative Writing.She will be working on the Southern Team this year.
