Andrea King Named Assistant Registrar at MCCC

June 28, 2005, Blue Bell/Pottstown, Pa.- Montgomery County Community College is pleased to welcome Andrea King, of Collegeville, as Assistant Registrar.

Andrea KingPrior to arriving at MCCC, King worked at the University of Pennsylvania as Division Coordinator for Policy Management and Evaluation.In her new position as Assistant Registrar, King is responsible for student affairs functions, such as reviewing student transfer transcripts; dropping, adding and withdrawing from classes; and teaching students and staff how to use Web Advisor.

King holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences and a Master of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, College of General Studies.She takes great pride in the fact that she earned both degrees part-time while working full-time.

When she is not at work, Kings enjoys admiring her husband's work restoring porcelain and spending time playing with her cats.
