Mrs. Kimball is a graduate of Columbia University School of Journalism, former teacher, New York Daily News copy editor and the author and publisher of 45 Minutes to America (Westmeadow Press, 2001).A native of Seekonk, she recalls, "When I was a child people used to ask, ,What are you going to be when you grow up?' And I would say, ,Well, I'm going to do this when I'm 20, this when I'm 30, this when I'm 40.' I always thought that I would be bored if I did one thing."
She knew she took a chance when she advertised in Island publications for poetry submissions.
