Taejung Kim is a Senior Product Manager/Strategy for Oracle Corporation in the Business Intelligence Applications team.

Prior to Oracle, Taejung was in the applications development team at Siebel Systems Inc., the world's leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions.Prior to that, he worked for Goldman Sachs & Co, Computer Associates Inc. and Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science department.

Taejung was born in Korea and immigrated with his family to Ecuador when he was four years old.After graduating from high school, he came to the US to study Computer Science with a minor in Engineering Studies.He received his Bachelor of Science with University Honors degree at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.He also spent a semester at Yonsei University in Seoul during his undergraduate studies where he studied Korean history, politics and language.During college, as the captain of his soccer team, he led his squad to a Championship title in the school's Intramurals competitions.

As soon as he arrived to Silicon Valley, Taejung joined the KAPS to serve the community and to meet other professionals with similar interests.He started volunteering as the KAPS College Mentorship Committee Chair and organized several College Professional Forums.Taejung strongly believes that KAPS members can help build a stronger Korean American community through various professional and community service events.

In his free time, Taejung enjoys playing many recreational sports such as soccer, basketball and golf.He hopes that one day he will make it to the final table of the WSOP.
