Without cheap close-ups or swelling music, Kim edits a compelling film, at one point inter-cutting the jagged breaths of an almost-dead baby girl fading in and out on the tri-split screen as Dr. Appel attempts to find a vein on her tiny leg and lists the drug injected,more than ten,while he tries to save another life.

Paul Kim, who won the Best in Show SONNY award a few years ago, currently works as the Video Coordinator for the Church Resource Consortium (CRC), and is busy with a youth-oriented, thirteen-part reality show titled Origins, which will play on the official SDA network, Hope TV.
