He first became involved with web development and Internet marketing in 1996, as an independent web producer for Bank of America, CMP Media, Ziff Davis and Organic. Previously, he co-founded and served as chief marketing officer for Insurgency Pictures, a start-up television advertising company based in San Francisco, California. He has also held staff positions at Spectrum HoloByte and the Milarepa Fund.
