NEW YORK—Metropolitan Jewish Hospice is pleased to welcome Paulina Kim, MD MPH CHES, as the new Hospice Medical Director.Dr. Kim oversees the care, assessment and treatment of all hospice patients.
Dr. Kim graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, and received her Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate Medical Center.Dr. Kim also holds a Master of Public Health and is a certified Community Health Education Specialist.She serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine; clinical instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale University; and co-chairperson of the planning committee on the End-of-Life Issues Working Group of Yale Bioethics Center.Prior to joining Metropolitan Jewish Hospice, Dr. Kim was an attending physician at the Veterans Administration Hospital located in West Haven, Connecticut.
