Ms. Kim received her B.A. in English from the University of Hawaii in 1996, and her J.D. cum laude from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law in 2001.At the William S. Richardson School of Law, Ms. Kim and her moot court partner took first place two years in a row in the National Native American Moot Court Competition.Ms. Kim served as an editor for the Asian Pacific Law and Policy Journal, as a Moot Court Board member, and was elected Student Bar Association President.She received the Richard S. and Percy K. Mirikitani Memorial Scholarship, and the Alexandra Murdoch-Haig Scholarship for her work as a volunteer guardian ad-litem for children.Ms. Kim was a two-time recipient of the Edmunds Award for Civility and Vigorous Advocacy.She is a member of the Hawaii State, American, Federal, and National Asian Pacific American Bar Associations.
