    PALISADES PARK, N.J., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Kim, CEO and President of High Speed Net Solutions (OTC Bulletin Board: HSNS) announced today that the company executives, affiliates, and Summus, Ltd. executives will travel to Korea on May 13, 1999 to continue discussions at the worldwide headquarters of the Korean-based electronics conglomerate.

    Mr. Kim, who has been acting as the chief intermediary in the ongoing meetings between HSNS and the Korean company, and spearheaded efforts to strike an alliance between the two said, "In our previous meetings, they have seen the advantages in the performance of the streaming video, still image compression and electronic video mail technologies we can offer.Our main focus in Korea will be to present how our wavelet-based technologies and products can effect a variety of their businesses.We believe that this technology can be installed in many of their products and give them a major marketing advantage."

    The Director of the Korean company's Product Innovation Lab reviewed the various wavelet-based compression technologies and products and then requested that Mr. Kim and Summus founder, Dr. Bjorn Jawerth, travel to Korea to present and discuss the technology and products to key groups within the company.
