   Mr. Kim joined the firm in 1997.He received a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1996 and an undergraduate degree, Phi Beta Kappa and with distinction, from Stanford University in 1993.From 1996 to 1997, he clerked for the Honorable Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.From June 2000 until April 2006, Mr. Kim worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York.As a prosecutor in the General Crimes Unit, Narcotics Unit, and Organized Crime and Terrorism Unit of that office, Mr. Kim investigated and prosecuted numerous federal offenses, including racketeering, murder, kidnapping, securities fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, and terrorism.Mr. Kim was involved in several high-profile prosecutions, including the prosecutions of high-ranking members of the Mafia and Hong Kong Triads.After six years as a federal prosecutor, Mr. Kim returned to the firm in May 2006.Mr. Kim has personally tried twelve jury trials and has briefed and argued numerous appeals before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
   
   Mr. Kim is a member of the Bar in New York and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. Districts Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.He is fluent in Korean and proficient in French.
