Ed, presently a Director of Quality for Liquidmetal Technologies, has over 15 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, business development, supply chain management, product management and quality management.

Ed's prior business experiences include strategic planning, product management and quality management at ITT Industries, Cannon division (electronics components manufacturing), and strategic planning, marketing and trading various petroleum products at Texaco Refining and Marketing Inc.

Ed is a certified Six-Sigma Black Belt (University of Michigan) and holds an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Columbia and SB in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Eddie has a background in corporate financial planning and analysis, banking, and investment management.As the finance director of Simon & Schuster, he oversaw daily finance operations and the planning process, while providing advisory services to senior management and engaging in restructuring projects after a major divestiture.As a banker, he participated in the lending operations of a $500 million portfolio consisting of startups to major multinationals.And prior to banking, he supported the international equity portfolio management process of a private bank.On the entrepreneurial side, he has done consulting work for American Banker, the Financial Planning magazine, and has helped several startups and small businesses with finance and accounting, systems implementation, and business strategy.
