    Tennessee company funded at $7.75 million as a result of Venture Capital Conference

    In June, Knoxville-based Sarcon Microsystems breathed a huge sigh of relief as they finalized a $7.75 million investment primarily from two firms, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Atlanta.

    Through a contact made at last year's Tennessee Venture Capital Conference, Sarcon met up with Ardesta, an Ann Arbor firm specializing in similar computer microsystems.
