Over the next several days, Catapult application engineer Dan Kim advised the carrier's test engineers on how to use the MGTS system to construct text messages in the proper format and to generate extremely high levels of message traffic.According to Kim, 'By simulating the voting traffic that follows the American Idol show, the AT&T Wireless engineers were able to determine the load capacity and efficiency of their network and to avoid any potential voting problems.'
