Our designer, Julie Kilpatrick, will call on you to discuss your requirements. This is your opportunity to put forward any ideas you might have and to discuss the practicability of your vision. Don't worry if you don't have a vision, you will be shown pictures and other visual aids to help you make up your mind. If, after initial talks, you are happy to go ahead and commission a design, Julie will then carry out a survey and take all the necessary measurements to draw up a sketch plan.
Sketch Plan
The initial consultation will produce a sketch plan and storyboard. It will show the position of key features and provide you with an idea of the suggested planting and style of the garden. This is where you discuss any changes you might want to make having seen the plan on paper. Julie will also discuss with you how practical the plan is in terms of your budget, time scale and, if you plan to build the garden yourself, your level of ability. As many sketch plans as you want will be produced until you are completely satisfied.
The Plan
When you are happy with the sketch plan, Julie will go on to complete the garden design package itself. -
