Leana joined Field Fisher Waterhouse in 2000 as a trainee.During her training, Leana was seconded to Transport for London to work in the in-house legal team.

Leana has broad experience in both contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law.Since qualifying, she has assisted in a variety of Employment Tribunal claims involving unfair dismissal and discrimination, and has prepared and negotiated numerous compromise agreements, employment contracts and policies.

Leana is the Secretary and Project Coordinator of Uganda Sunrise, a charity which works towards the rehabilitation of former street children, and encourages youth development in Uganda.Leana recently took time out from working at FFW to work for Uganda Sunrise in Kampala, and to travel.

A lifelong member of the Guiding and Scouting movements, Leana has been involved in Scouting in Uganda since 1997.Having formally joined Uganda Sunrise at the beginning of 2001, Leana now holds the positions of Secretary, and Project Co-ordinator.As a keen traveller, Leana has completed hiking expeditions to New Mexico and Arizona, and Scouting projects in Kenya, Uganda and the Seychelles.Leana has many sporting achievements and more recently Leana took part in the Military Challenge, running 10k before completing the Army Assault Course in Pirbright.Her next challenge will be the London Triathlon where she will be raising money for Uganda Sunrise by swimming in the Thames!She is currently living and working in London and is a solicitor with city law firm.
