Ms. Sarah Khan was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec.She graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor in Psychology and a minor in Adult Education.She went on to do a certificate in Public Relation.She is presently pursuing a Masters in Education from University of Phoenix.Her first classroom teaching experience was as a volunteer at an elementary school as a special education teacher; where she worked for a year during her University studies.In addition to supervising the lunch program for several years, she also monitored recreational activities at Roslyn Elementary School in Montreal.She has student teaching experience at the first and sixth grade level, in both suburban and rural school districts.She particularly enjoyed working with "at-risk" children.For the past two years, she had been working at the Islamic School of Greater Kansas City, teaching both high school and middle school English.
