Aneta Key joined McKinsey in 1999 and is currently an Engagement Manager in the San Francisco office and a core member of McKinsey & Company's West Coast Financial Institutions Group.Aneta focuses exclusively on serving financial institutions, covering strategy, risk management, financial performance, and operations.

Aneta earned her Finance M.B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University, where she was Financial Services Research Fellow.She also earned a M.S. degree in System Sciences from the Technical University of Bulgaria.

In 2004 Aneta was awarded a fellowship with the McKinsey Global Institute, McKinsey's economics think tank, to lead a year-long research project on the evolution of the global capital market.

Aneta led the work on the recently released Bay Area Economic Profile report, created in collaboration with the Bay Area Economic Forum, the Bay Area Council, and the Association of the Bay Area Governments.
