Sheriff Chuck Ankney will conduct the auction, which will be much like the county's annual sheriff's sale, Court Administrator Miles Kessinger reported Friday.
...
"He's going to take bids like at a sheriff's sale," Kessinger said.
The event could be moved to the large courtroom, if there is a large crowd, Kessinger said.
Proceeds from the auction of the four-story apartment building near Lock Haven Hospital and Susque-View Home & Health Center will be funneled back to the Clinton County Health and Wellness Foundation, a subsidiary of the complex's owner, Lock Haven Health Enterprises Inc., which was created after the sale of Lock Haven Hospital four years ago.
