STEPHEN KERR , ( AUS ) , 2300 , seems to make a life of chess.He was the assistant editor of the national magazine , Chess in Australia , later known as The Australian Chess Magazine , for over ten years and now he works at Chess Discount Sales in Sydney where he has lived all of his life.He is 38 years old and he is unmarried.He learned how to play chess when he was eleven and he is a former Australian Junior and British U18 Champion.

GERI KLINGBILE , ( CAN ) , 800 , is married and she has a daughter , a son-in-law and three grandchildren.Additionally she has a Quarter Horse , Dusty , two dogs , Darby and Chase , two cats , Bambi and Buddy , and a rabbit , Bun Bun.Her hobbies , obviously , are her pets , her computer and chess.She has played chess for four years , being self taught.She has not won any tournaments or chess prizes yet but she is still learning the game and she is looking forward to playing a lot of games and learning a lot. She lives in Windsor , Ontario where she is a Residential Addictions Counselor.

JOSE LEGARDA , ( ESP ) , 1960 , is a 40 year old physician , living with his wife in San Sebastian , a town in northern Spain in the Basque Country.He is a member of the British Chess Problem Society and he has been playing since he was seventeen.He has played postal chess for twenty-three years and OTB for ten years.He has not won any important tournaments.His hobbies include classical music , lectures and running.
