    Adam Kerby is a senior at Poteet High School who has distinguished himself as a leader in academics, student activities, extra-curricular activities, and the community.

    As a student at Poteet, Adam has maintained his academic standards by being a member of the National Honor Society for three years.His teachers report he is organized, efficient, and maintains a high standard in all his work.He is self-confident and shows great leadership abilities in and out of the classroom.

    Adam has been involved in numerous activities while at Poteet.He is currently Band President and has played the trumpet for six years.He has won many awards in the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest.He is a member of Poteet Campus Crime Stoppers and has served as Sergeant-at-Arms for two years.He has tutored in general studies at the elementary and high school level.This year Adam was selected to be a member of "Seniors Uniting Poteet", which is an elite group of seniors who share their leadership abilities with underclassmen.He also was a cast member in Slama Bama Jama, a drug awareness group that works with the Mesquite Police Department in the middle schools.

    In service to the community, Adam has participated in various school sponsored charity projects such as Red Ribbon Week, "Pack the Plane," and "Load the Trailer".Adam is also very involved in his church.He is a Poteet HsAdam Bingham
