MSU-Billings Career Services held its biannual advisory board meeting in September, where the following new board members were named: Jacque Ayers, Golden Nugget Body & Paint; David Crisp, Billings Outpost; Heather Haws, Starbuck's; DeeDee Kane, Department of Transportation; Sherri Keil, Social Security Administration; Luvenia Rides Horse, IHS; Rita Van Zee, Deaconess Billings Clinic; Dr. Johanna Hadden, MSU-Billings College of Education; Allen Kent, MSU-Billings College of Technology; Adam Lucido, president, Associated Students of MSU-Billings.

Allen Kent has recently completed the Global Information Assurance Certification Incident Handler Certification.Kent is an instructor of Microsoft networking at MSU-Billings College of Technology.Among his other industry certifications are Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, GIAC Security Essentials, and Security+.

Kent will teach a four-day seminar on network security incident handling Jan. 3-6 at the COT.Contact MSU-Billings COT Admissions office for enrollment information at 247-3000.Kent also organizes the Montana Computer Network Security Conference, which will be held March 9-10 at the COT.He will be speaking on incident handling and hacker techniques.
