Alexandra Cespedes Kent, Assets Manager Alexandra joined Juma in July 2002 and is now an old hand at encouraging youth to learn about managing money and building assets.Practically an SF native, Alexandra became independent at the age of 15 and has long had a commitment to working with urban youth.Prior to starting at Juma, she was Program Coordinator at the McKesson Corporation Summer Youth Development Program and a Paralegal for the NY County District Attorney.Alexandra studied at UC Berkeley for two years as an Incentive Award Scholar, a program aimed at recruiting high-achieving inner city students to Cal, and completed her degree in English Literature at Amherst College in Massachusetts.She is currently a 2003 Coro Foundation Community Fellow studying public policy issues affecting the Bay Area.
