Sean Kelly Director of Project Management

Sean works with clients on a broad range of strategic and technical projects and problems.His project work and consulting engagement experience includes finance and accounting, operations, marketing, human resource, and risk management functions.Sean has managed large strategic projects with significant business impact from requirements definition through implementation and post-implementation support, and has managed software and consulting service selection and purchase.He aligns the goals of information technology and operational departments of organizations with the internal or external businesses they serve.Most recently Sean was with Resources Connection of Stamford, CT and New York, as the Managing Director of Connecticut where he directed the business development efforts across accounting and finance, information technology, and human capital service lines.Prior to that he was with The Sumitomo Bank, LTD in New York City serving as the Vice-President , Project Manager - Profitability and Portfolio MIS where Sean managed requirements definition, software selection, and implementation of Oracle Financial Services Applications (OFSA) for profitability and exposure management in the Americas and European Divisions.Prior to Sumitomo, Sean worked with SBC Warburg Dillon Read over a ten year period in their Stamford, CT and New York offices filling a variety of roles which most recently included Director - Loan Portfolio Manager, where Sean reduced the risk in US Loan Book by exiting facilities and creating credit derivative structures to shield the bank from the credit risk and where he controlled commitments to uneconomic deals by setting minimum prices.Sean worked as part of the management team that launched SBC Glacier Finance Ltd.Other roles at SBC include: Associate Director - Banking Finance Officer, where he marketed loan products to public utilities, technology companies, and financial service companies; Associate Director - Manager of Treasury Operation, where Sean managed the operations group supporting the banks Treasury and Money Market products; and, Associate Director - Data Center Operations Manager, responsible for the 24-hour operation of the New York Data Center, Help Desk and LAN support.Earlier experience includes Subaru of New England/Boston Port Services (Controller) - Boston, MA; Deloitte Haskins & Sells (Senior Accountant) - Boston, MA; and T.M. Byxbee Company (Staff Accountant) - Hamden, CT.Sean is a graduate of Boston University, with an MS - Management Information Systems (with honors), and the University of Connecticut, with a BS - Accounting.Sean is a Certified Public Accountant (Massachusetts - Inactive) and has his Series 7 and 63 licenses.
