    Ron Kelly was born in Vancouver in 1954 and grew up in Abbotsford.He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science in 1976 and his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1979, both from the University of British Columbia.He articled with Baker Newby LLP in 1979 and has been with the Firm ever since.

    Mr. Kelly has always been active in community affairs, serving as an executive member of the Abbotsford Foundation, the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce, the Chilliwack-Fraser Rotary Club, and the Abbotsford Rotary Club.Professionally, he has served as the Chair of the Fraser Valley Bar Association and the Chilliwack Bar Association.

    Mr. Kelly has more than 27 years experience in real estate and commercial transactions.He has extensive experience in acting for banks, credit unions, and other lending institutions as well as an ongoing interest in and experience with municipal law.He also represents many clients in connection with complex real estate developments.He has lectured on these topics through the People's Law School and the University College of the Fraser Valley in both Abbotsford and Chilliwack.

    Although his favourite pastime is travel, Mr. Kelly has always enjoyed returning to the Fraser Valley and the quality of life it represents to him.
