Kelly-Rouse of FaithAction says she'd hoped initially to publish each recipe in its native language.That works well enough for a language like Spanish, but adding new fonts to publish a recipe in, for example, Arabic, gets expensive for a young nonprofit.

So, they settled for publishing many recipes from Spanish-speaking cultures in their native language.

It's not meant to be an inconvenience to non-Spanish speakers, says Kelly-Rouse.

"We wanted to maintain the integrity of the recipes in their original form as much as possible," she says.
