Lily Kellogg

Lily Kellogg - Tutoring Joined DWS - August 1983

Lily is currently a nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP) with a special interest in both special education and mathematics instruction. She has been professionally employed in education since 1981, being licensed and certified in elementary education in Masachussetts at that time. Since that time she has worked in both public and private education, having helped to found the Moray Steiner School in Findhorn, Scotland working as both teacher and administrator, and working at the Denver Waldorf School in various positions since 1991 including music teacher, substitute teacher, high school administrator, college counselor, registrar. year book coordinator, and most recently math tutor for grades 3 through 8. She is currently employed for three days per week with Denver Public Schools as a school psychologist/learning specialist and is available for private tutoring at DWS Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is a member of the Care Group. She also continues to be involved in music and offers recorder or harp instruction by special request.

Lily taught in public middle schools in New England for a number of years before she ventured to Scotland, where she lived at the Findhorn Community and eventually founded a Waldorf School.Moving to Denver, she continued her music training and joined DWS as a music teacher.When the High School opened, she served as the administrator and, eventually, decided to continue her education, receiving an MA in Educational Psychology with a focus on Special Education.
