Mrs. Marguerite KellettMrs. Marguerite Kellett, 83, of Aurora, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2002 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.She was born on March 26, 1919 in Greenfield, Missouri the daughter of the late John and Maude (Montgomery) Divine.Marguerite moved to Aurora in 1937, where she met her future husband Howard Kellett.They were united in marriage in 1940.She was his strongest supporter in his successful campaigns for election to the offices of Kane County Sheriff (1954-1958) and Clerk of the Appellate Court, a position he held until his death in 1973.Marguerite was employed for many years as a teller at Aurora Federal Savings (now West Suburban Bank) and she declined many recommendations for promotion because she loved serving her customers.She was a member of the First Christian Church of Aurora for many years and a member of the Aurora Republican Women's Club.She was also an avid Chicago Bears fan and was present at the Super Bowl XX game.She is survived by her nephews and nieces, John (Alexandra) Kiefer, Wilma (Richard) Fox, Bob (Sue) Kellett, Tom Kellett and Lory (Bill) Jones; several cousins, Peggy (Duane) Darnell, Hilda Wallace, Shirley King, Shelba Baldwin and Leon Baldwin; dear friends, specifically Mary Alice Gin, Lois Eygabroad, Lodema Krause and Beatrice Rader, her childhood best friend.She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kellett; her sisters, Helen Carlock, Dixie Kiefer and Mary Frances Wilcox; her niece, Carol Ann Tyndall and her nephew George Bly Wilcox.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1:00PM, October 8, 2002 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora, with Rev.
