    The employee had been working for the company since earlier this summer , according to Ken Kellett , Columbia Bitulithic's vice president of human resources.

    Columbia was a subcontractor of Walter SNC Lavalin , the company that is the head contractor for the Airport Connector Project.The accident and ensuing investigation kept portions of the intersection closed into the evening Thursday.

    Personnel from RCMP victim services provided support to the victim's co-workers on site , and would also be available for ongoing assistance , Thiessen said.

    Ken Kellett, spokesman for Columbia Bitulithic, said Nisbet was part of a three-man team on a milling machine - a piece of equipment which rips up pavement prior to repaving.At the time of accident, he was one of two men walking beside the milling machine, making sure it remained in line.The third man was driving the slow-moving machine.
