Randy Keko, Wood-Mizer International Sales Director
(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) Wood-Mizer is moving forward with a plan to more directly target South American consumers, through the expansion of an already diverse International Sales Team.
Randy Keko is the latest addition to the Wood-Mizer International Sales Division.He will manage the four-person group based in Indianapolis, along with the dozens of Wood-Mizer authorized dealers.
Keko, who has 25 years of experience in the sale of forest products equipment with Viking Engineering, Hazlethorn Machine, and Conner Equipment Sales, joined the Wood-Mizer staff in January.Keko will work out of Wood-Mizer's main office in Indianapolis, which is a homecoming for Keko-a graduate of Indiana State University.
Keko sees his primary goal as tapping into the vast and fruitful marketplace of South America.
"Our goal by the end of 2005 is to double our current international sales volumes in these targeted areas," says Keko."One of the key markets is Brazil.It's a large landmass area and there is currently a very small concentration of Wood-Mizer mills.The potential for growth is amazing."
In addition to increasing sales, Keko will work with Wood-Mizer's Research and Development team to refine the current mill configurations and blade profiles to best serve the very specific needs of the international community.
