Kerrie Keane (Born 19??) is a Canadian actress who played the role of Alexana Devos in (TNG: "The High Ground").
She has performed on stage, and in film and television for over 30 years.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American and Russian History at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario and studied acting with master teachers in Canada and the United States.
In FILM she has starred opposite John Lithgow (Distant Thunder), Vanessa Redgrave (Second Serve), Peter Fonda and Oliver Reed (Deathbite), Elias Koteas (Malarek), and John Cassavetes (The Incubus).
In Canada she won a Genie "Best Actress" nomination for her lead role in "Obsessed".
In TELEVISION she has had starring roles in three series - The Yellow Rose; Hot Pursuit; Studio 5B; and a recurring character on Beverly Hills 90210.
She has enjoyed a wide range of roles in a myriad of TV movies including A Death in California, A Degree in Deception, Mistress, The Perfect Daughter, House on Sycamore Street, Divided We Stand, and Life of the Party with Ann Margaret.
She had the pleasure of appearing on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
She has recently guest-starred on Cold Case, Criminal Minds and Shark.
Her recent roles in THEATRE were Lily in "Lily in a Glass of Cider" at the Century City Playhouse and Rachel in "The Baby Dance" for the San Jose Repertory.
In addition to her ongoing acting career, she produced and directed "7 Sided Circle" at the Gene Bua Theater, and received outstanding reviews for her direction of Alan Bowne's controversial play "BEIRUT".
She has just finished her first novel "The Waters of Lethe", and she wrote and directed White Buffalo's inaugural play "Fool Am I."
Establishing White Buffalo Theatre Company in 2004, Ms. Keane presented the company with the characters and scaffolding of a play, and for five months they met weekly, improvising with the characters and scenes, and inspiring the company's inaugural production, "Fool Am I".
Every member of the company was cast in this original piece, and every member was responsible for it's production and ultimate success.
Directed by Ms. Keane, "Fool Am I" ran for six weeks at Deaf West Theatre in the spring of 2005 and was well received by critics and audience.
A great evening of entertainment at Monroes, utilizing all the musical talent in the company, helped fund the production.
Focused on developing plays of social relevance, Ms. Keane wrote The Red and White Store for the company.
It was work-shopped for an invited audience of writers, directors, and actors in October 2006.
