Adam Kay on loan Accy Way
The Clarets have reduced their squad size even more today with the news that midfielder Adam Kay has joined Accrington Stanley on loan until the end of the season.
The locally born 19 year old youngster has yet to make his football league debut since turning professional for the Clarets and has not made an appearance this season in the first team.
He has however been named three times on the bench in our Cup games including the Chelsea game at Stamford Bridge in the Carling Cup and the two games against QPR in the FA Cup

'We are happy to allow Adam out on loan to Accrington.
e have a good relationship with the club and this will hopefully allow Adam to get some first team football as the season comes to a close.
We did a similar thing with Jay Rodriguez last season at Stirling and he really benefited from the exposure.'

Kay though will hopefully now play a part in ensuring then can stay up and finish as high as possible.
The news coupled with Mahon also going out on loan this week to Blackpool, means that we now have six players out on loan with Kay and Mahon joining Kiraly, Jones, Van der Schaaf and Berisha.

Wonder if Ade will be next before loan window closes?
Not sure that would be wise with Pato/Thommo injuries turfmanphil
They do seem to be trying to free up some wage bills and Ade is a big earner so there is a possibility,i just wonder if we are freeing up these wages to get somebody or bodies even in?we are getting very stretched 8clarets8
