    Michael J. Kavanagh, BA Regional Manager, Global Programs

    Michael has served as Regional Manager for Global Programs since 2006. Joining the organization in 2003 as a Program Coordinator, Michael, in collaboration with PHMI senior leadership and client executives, has overseen PHMI partnerships with clients working on nursing and physician professional development, hospital management and operations issues, quality management initiatives and facility design programs. Michael provides focused and tailored administrative, financial, operational, and programmatic management support to further the objectives and goals of PHMI's long-term international clients. Since its creation in 2006, Michael has coordinated and facilitated efforts of the PHMI China Office staff with the Boston home office.

    Michael also works closely with PHMI leadership and staff on the development of contract proposals for prospective clients. In these roles at PHMI Michael has collaborative working experience in China, Turkey, Greece, Thailand, Italy, South Korea, and Indonesia.

    Prior to joining PHMI, Michael managed a grant program in sub-Saharan African countries for 10 years at a non-profit human rights organization in Washington, DC and previously worked as a legislative aide in the United States Senate.
