Mr. Karceski also has prosecuted several hundred design patent applications and is very familiar with the design patent process and the nuances associated with that practice.

    While not a primary focus of his current practice, Mr. Karceski has assisted in patent litigations, litigations involving trade dress allegations, and 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission. Mr. Karceski also has been involved in several patent reexaminations and patent interferences.

    In addition, Mr. Karceski is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. Since 1994, he has been teaching a paralegal studies course in intellectual property as a part of the Paralegal Studies Program.

    Mr. Karceski received a J.D. from the George Washington University Law Center and a B.S. in nuclear engineering (with a minor in mechanical engineering) from the University of Maryland, College Park.
