Michael Kane Michael joined VenGrowth Private Equity Partners Inc. in 2000.In his capacity as Associate, Michael is accountable for evaluating potential investments, negotiating company valuations and performing technical research and due diligence activities.Michael also works closely with a number of VenGrowth's existing portfolio companies in settling strategic focus and positioning, securing customers and driving revenue, recruiting management and board members and obtaining financing needs.
Michael brings to VenGrowth a strong operations background and broad technical experience from working with a series of leading blue chip technology companies.Prior to joining VenGrowth, Michael served as a Program Manager at Microsoft where he was responsible for leading a technical and marketing team in the Pocket PC division toward the successful release of one of the pioneering software programs for enabling mobile Internet browsing.
Michael holds his Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Waterloo.Michael is currently an observer board member at:
