Balancing a rigorous academic schedule, Alison has still managed to participate in many school and community activities.As a four-year member of the Science Club, Math Club, and Yorker Club, Alison has won recognition at the school level as well as from the Goudreau Museum of Mathematics.She is proud to be a member of two honor societies, an AP Scholar with Honors, and to be listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Even though she is currently enrolled in four advanced placement courses, Alison still finds the time to do volunteer work.She has worked at the Bellmore Street fairs, public television station telethons, Breast Cancer Walk, Lupus Foundation Walk, and the Kiwanis Club.She has also achieved a great deal of satisfaction volunteering at the Belair Care Center, a nursing home.As a member of the Wantagh Jewish Center, Alison participates in activities and performs volunteer service there as well.For the past three summers, she has worked as a counselor at various day camps.

Even with such a full schedule, Alison manages to pursue her love for dance.Since she was six years old, Alison has studied jazz and modem dance at the Marianne Anderson School of Dance.

In the fall, Alison will attend Cornell University where she plans to pursue a degree in nutritional sciences and dietetics.
