Dr. Mounes Kalaawi, Chief Executive Officer of Clemenceau Medical Center, believes that with its latest technology equipment in Nuclear Medicine Division, the CMC Imaging Center will be one of the leading Radiology departments in the Middle East with its latest digital imaging systems available, especially with the newly acquired 64 Slice CT scan from GE with its diagnostic tools that enables performing in addition to whole body scanning, such as Cardiac CT to visualize Heart vessels without Catheterization and Colonography for colon imaging without performing colonoscopy.Dr. Kalaawi added, "This agreement with GE is in addition to a 7 Million Dollar contract CMC signed earlier with GE to install the world newest technology in MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, Densitometry, Flat Panel Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and 4D Ultrasound all linked to a Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS) for a completely Film less Medical Imaging."
