   Cheryl Khaner is currently the President of her own music industry consulting firm, Khaner Consulting LLC; clients include V2 Records, Haven Entertainment, Island/Def Jam Music Group, Warner Bros, Vector and Curb Records. She is also a member of the advisory board of Haystack.com.
   
   Ms. Khaner is an award-winning, proven and well-respected 12 year veteran of music promotion and marketing. Her career began with regional promotion and marketing gigs at Elektra Entertainment Group in Atlanta & Nashville and Columbia Records in San Francisco & New York. In 1997, Ms. Khaner joined the team which turned around RCA Records as Vice President of Adult Formats and Internet Radio Promotion and Marketing.
   
   Under Ms. Khaner's leadership, the RCA Music Group became a model for the promotion and marketing of adult-oriented artists to the consumer through radio and the internet. Her promotion team led RCA Records to the top of the industry in awards and nominations for Label of the Year in the adult music category every year from 1998-2002.
   
   Ms. Khaner has risen quickly through the ranks of the music industry, fueled by her passion for talent & music combined with the skills she gained as a practicing real estate, contract and litigation attorney in New York City. Ms. Khaner made the decision to change her career after 7 years in law to fulfill her lifelong desire to be involved with music. The combination of her varied areas of expertise has made an excellent basis for her continued success.
   
   Shop2music was conceived while Ms. Khaner was shopping online in the middle of the night and she realized it was the perfect place to present and market music to a receptive consumer. Shop2music was born one year later.
   
   Ms. Khaner received her B.A. in Rhetoric & Communication and Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany, magna cum laude; and holds a J.D. from St. John's University. She has been admitted to practice before the Bar of the State of New York since 1987.
