Dr. Lisa C. Kahn is presently Curator of Education at the Tampa Museum of Art, since 1998, as well as adjunct Professor of Art History and Archaeology at Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, FL.Dr. Kahn received her bachelors degree in Art Education from SUC New Paltz, NY, an MA in Classics at SUNY Albany, NY, and a Ph.D. in Art History and Archaeology from Boston University, MA.She has held professorships at Tufts University and The University of Tulsa.In 1995-96, she was appointed USIA fellow at the Albright Institute of Archaeological Research, Jerusalem, following which she was founding director of the Tulsa Ceramic Arts Gallery and Studio.
Dr. Kahn is currently active in a number of local, state, national and international professional organizations.She serves as Florida State representative for the American Association of Museums as well as on various local advisory boards.She lectures and publishes nationally and internationally on her archaeological fieldwork and research.
