"It is a shop owner's responsibility to provide training, and as part of that, I send my technicians around the country for specific training classes," Kahler said, adding that he has brought in trainers from around the country to his shop for special training on weekends.He also said that for many years, on a every other year basis, he closes his import repair facility and takes his entire crew to the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) in Las Vegas, which he said has been well received.
Kahler also said it was critical that shop owners have competent management training."AMI (Automotive Management Institute) has been an excellent resource for that.It's critical.
