Awni Jubran: Coordinator: Family, Children and Youth programsAwni develops programs that aim at assisting families, children and youth.Of late, the main focus has been on the Remembering the Innocents campaign, consisting of many different sub-programs.
Awni graduated from Bethlehem University in 1996 with a BA Degree in Social Work and Psychology, and a degree in Journalism in 1999.Awni is an active member of the Palestinian community and has had extensive experience and practice in conflict resolution, and leadership training.He feels that through its organized structure and focus on collective work, HLT continues to present him with the resources and ability to better serve the community.Awni also believes in the uniqueness of the vision and message of the organization to the local community and the world.
Ahmad Al'Azzeh: Coordinator: Peace Builders programAhmad graduated from Bethlehem University in 2001 with a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology, and an M.A. in Human Rights and Democratization with a focus on minority's rights.He has been practicing direct nonviolence since 1995 when he was representing the High School Union.He has had extensive experience during his time in Bethlehem University as President of the Student Senate.HLT gives him the opportunity to prove himself as nonviolence trainer and peacebuilders coordinator to actualize his dream and ambition by spreading the peace perceptive within the grassroots peoples.
