There's a lot of history behind the name Monroe Albin "Moe" Jubitz.For starters, he helped invent the modern-day concept of the "full-service" truck stop when he opened a 30-plus-acre facility near Interstate 5 in Portland, Ore., in 1958.Mr. Jubitz's career in trucking came to a close last year when, just before turning 80, he retired as chairman and chief executive officer of Jubitz Corp.
