Jena Kirsch Joyce practices corporate law, representing start-up ventures, emerging companies and public companies.Her practice focuses on advising and representing clients in connection with a variety of technology-related transactions, including technology licensing and development, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital finance.Ms. Joyce provides services to clients in a variety of technology-dependent industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical diagnostics, software and e-commerce.

Ms. Joyce's experience includes drafting, reviewing, negotiating, advising clients with respect to e-commerce and Internet transactions, patent, copyright, trade secret and trademark licensing, clinical trial agreements, online and traditional advertising agreements, distributor/reseller agreements, and manufacture/supply agreements.In addition, Ms. Joyce serves as general corporate counsel for several clients, providing assistance with corporate governance matters, entity formation/compliance/dissolution, and with employment-related matters, such as employment and consulting agreements, confidentiality policies and equity-based compensation plans.

Jena Kirsch Joyce practices corporate law, representing start-up ventures, emerging companies and public companies.Jena's practice focuses on advising and representing clients with respect to a variety of technology and biotech transactions for clients whose products and services include pharmaceuticals, software and technology-related and web-based services.Her experience includes drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising clients on e-Commerce and Internet transactions (including web-based hosting and application service provider arrangements, online and traditional advertising agreements, and Internet affiliate and referral agreements), technology license agreements, clinical trial agreements, distributor/reseller agreements, and manufacturing and supply agreements.In addition, Jena's experience includes the preparation of corporate securities and antitrust filings, mergers and acquisitions, equity-based compensation plans, shareholder rights plans, employment and consulting agreements, private placements and other financing arrangements.

Prior to joining Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, Jena was an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins, where she worked on a variety of transactional matters, including corporate, real estate and finance work.Jena began practicing law after an eight-year career in public relations and marketing; her experience in a broad range of industries brings a unique perspective to her practice of law.
