Tammy Pritt-Jones, a caseworker with the state Department of Health and Human Resources in Clay County, said she had the happy task of delivering some good news to a mother of three children whose water supply is so red with iron they cannot drink it or wash clothing with it.Because of funding from Neediest Cases, the family has ordered a new, 550-gallon water storage system.

"She is tickled to death about it," Pritt-Jones said, "and she's told several people about it."

Tammy Jones, of Grants, said she has a friend who works for the state Department of Transportation who told her about the law.

She said she has always moved over because of safety.Otherwise, she said she has never heard of the law.
