   Johnson's mother, Ruth Johnson, is also a resident of Mount Joy.
   
   In addition to her dental practice, Dr. Johnson offers lessons on dental health and hygiene each year during Children's Dental Health Month. She is a captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve, serving as administration officer for the 14th Dental Company, 4th Dental Battalion, 4th Service Support Group, Fleet Marine Force.
   
   Johnson's community involvement includes president of the Donegal Girls' Soccer Booster Club; Donegal High School Prom Committee; Donegal Music Association; Donegal Performing Arts; and director of Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce since 1992. She was a Junior Girl Scout leader from 1996 to 1999, served on the Kunkle Park Playground Committee to build the playground in 1993, and played a significant role in the revitalization of downtown Mount Joy. She was also active with the Seiler School and Home Association and served as book fair chairperson from 1994 to 1998.
   
   Johnson served as Mount Joy BPW president 1995-96 and has chaired many of the various committees of the club. She is currently serving as Foundation chairperson.
