Matt Johnson

Clifton Gunderson LLP announces the addition of Northwest Iowa native Matt Johnson as a certified public accountant.Johnson is currently serving as a senior associate in the audit department, where he plans, performs and supervises audit, review and compilation engagements of various types of organizations.

Johnson brings four years of accounting experience to the position.He most recently served as a senior accountant for Henjes, Connor, Williams & Grimsley, LLP located in Sioux City.While there he provided audit services for construction companies, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, 401(k) plans, and HUD apartments as well as individual and corporate income tax preparation.

Johnson graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, with a bachelor of arts in accounting and a minor in business administration.He also graduated from Battle Creek-Ida Grove High School.

He currently holds a CPA license in Iowa, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of CPAs.
