Johnson, Esq., a full time mediator and arbitrator with JAMS, The Resolution Experts, is the recipient of the Catholic University of America - Columbus School of Law 2007 Black Law Students Association (BLSA) Alumni Achievement Award.Mr. Johnson was honored at BLSA's annual Alumni-Student Reception at Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. on April 19.

Mr. Johnson is a nationally recognized mediator and arbitrator with over 27 years of dispute resolution experience.He is the founder and executive director of the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution, an internationally recognized ADR entity, which provides dispute resolution education and training to culturally diverse audiences.He served as a professor of labor relations, law, and dispute resolution at Bowie State University for 17 years.He was also appointed by President Clinton to serve on the Federal Service Impasses Panel.He joined JAMS in 2003.

Mr. Johnson received his law degree from Catholic University Law School in 1980, his master's degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1974, and his bachelor's degree from Kent State University in 1972.
