Marty received his BA with international emphasis from Washington State University, minoring in economics.He is president of Beacon Solutions, Inc. (beaconsolutions.com), a software development and integration company specializing in the implementation of complex interactive voice response applications.

Marty began his technology-related career selling and marketing interactive voice response systems and solutions.Through the 1990s he became well-versed in the underlying technology and integrations with various back-end data systems.His technology and software development aptitude led him to roles of lead developer and solution architect.In 1997, Marty became a co-founder of Beacon Solutions, focusing primarily on the technical aspects of solution design and development.The experience he gained with this technology start-up eventually led to an expanded role in sales, marketing, and corporate management.
