Charles D. Johnson - Founder and EVP of Engineering

Mr. Johnson cofounded Vestmark in February of 2001. Prior to founding Vestmark, Mr. Johnson was the Principle Architect of the Personalization Products Division at Vignette Corporation responsible for the architecture and design of all Personalization Products. Mr. Johnson joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage, an eCRM software provider, in January of 2000.

Mr. Johnson was a co-founder of DataSage and served as the Director of Engineering and Lead Architect responsible for all product design and development. Prior to joining DataSage, Mr. Johnson had more than 10 years of experience with the DOD developing real-time distributed systems.

Mr. Johnson holds both a BS and MS of Engineering from Virginia Tech where he studied Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, and Digital System Design.
